I am a writer living near Stroud, Gloucestershire, inspired by the stunning scenery and a healthy sense of the miraculous and ridiculous.
Author of The Enneagram for the Spirit and the Chakra Workout, published by Gaia, I cut my teeth writing articles for a local property magazine on various topics including gardening and a centre spread: C'est Bon Gourmet. Thou Shalt not Waste about my uber thrifty mother was published in the Guardian in 2008. A prescient article, it is still available online. More recently I have written illustrated blogs as www.pictishwoman.com about my travels in New York, Costa Rica and Iceland.
I have been a guest on BBC Radio Four and Gloucestershire, appearing on Saturday Live, You and Yours, reviewing the papers and in a documentary: Clearing the House. In a shift from BMS books I have spent the last few years writing a memoir about my weird childhood: Meatless Steak and Angels - Surviving vegetarianism in 1950s Gloucester.
